In 1958, mountaineer Yukio Yamai founded a climbing equipment company in the Niigata prefecture of Japan dedicated to reconnecting people with nature. Sixty years later, through the vision of Yukio’s son Tohru and granddaughter Lisa, Snow Peak has evolved into a complete outdoor lifestyle brand.
